Noh is one of the Japanesetraditional artwhich played on a stage. It is the oldesttheatrical artin Japan with its origin goes back to 14th century.
It can be said Japanese musical with dance and music in its core. The actors act along withvocal musiccalled “jiutai” andinstrumental musiccalled “hayashi”. The most characteristic of Noh is that some actors wear masks called “Noh-men”.
Since it used to be played outside, the current stage inside the house has roof on it.
The leading characters are mostly ghost.
Kyogen is acomedyplayed between Nohprograms.
Kyogen is more like adramawith speech comes to its main.
